Job description

Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

Please note: This role is for Days, full-time 38.5 hours per week, working on a 3x on & 3x off shift rota.

As a Senior Care Assistant at Brinnington Hall Care Home, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our care. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, and communication with families, always with kindness. You will also facilitate social and recreational activities and administer medication.

Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures for reporting concerns. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-specific training.
