About The Role

Please note: This role is full-time, 38.5 hours per week (12-hour shifts with unpaid breaks), on a 3x on/3x off (days) schedule.

As a Senior Care Assistant at De Brook Lodge, kindness is at the core of your work. It influences every aspect of our care. Our staff understand that residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

You will plan and deliver care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. Building relationships with residents and their families, you will help develop personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your duties include assisting residents with mobility, end-of-life care, social activities, and medication administration, all performed with kindness.

Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you must recognize signs of abuse or neglect and know how to respond. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their roles and seek advice or escalate concerns as needed.
