Job summary

Amberley Care Home in Sale is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide person-centred support for residents, including daily living tasks, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing. You will work as part of a friendly care team, follow care plans, and help create a warm, respectful environment.

The role includes weekend shifts on an alternating pattern. Salary £12.71 per hour, 44 hours per week, with DBS pension contribution and uniform provided; 5.6 weeks annual leave based on full-time

Our luxury care home is situated in the beautiful, historic town of Sale, offering Residential, Dementia & Respite care for 72-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
