About The Role
Please note: We have an opportunity for a Full Time Senior Care Assistant 33hrs per week on Nights.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your role will involve planning and delivering care that promotes security, dignity, and independence for residents.
You will build relationships with residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence team practices. Your responsibilities include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication, and supporting mental and physical activities, as well as administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key aspects of your role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care and be willing to pursue Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care is preferred. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, good record-keeping, time management, and considerate communication are essential.
