Job summary

Healthcare Homes Group is seeking a dedicated care professional for Oaklands House in Southwold. The role covers day shifts, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend, and involves personal care, companionship, and maintaining resident records.

You'll administer medications as needed and contribute to leading our care team. A thorough induction and ongoing training programme support career development within our established team.

Qualifications

• Natural caring aptitude with a genuine desire to help others.
• Willingness to undergo induction and training.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.).
• Providing companionship and social interaction for residents.
• Maintaining accurate resident records.
• Administering prescribed medication and updating charts as applicable.
• Supporting and leading the existing care team.

Oaklands House is located in the seaside town of Southwold in Suffolk. The house is surrounded by five acres of mature woodland. Inside the home is a handsome entrance hall which leads on to a number of exquisite reception rooms. The stunning south-facing conservatory is ideal for peace and quiet but is also a popular meeting place for residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)
• Providing companionship and offering social interaction
• Maintaining accurate resident records
• Administering prescribed medication and updating medication charts as applicable
• Supporting and leading our existing care team
