Job summary

Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited is seeking a Domestic Assistant for Oaklands House in Reydon to join our care home team. The role focuses on maintaining clean, tidy resident rooms and communal areas, and preparing rooms for new admissions.

A thorough induction and ongoing training are provided, with a supportive team environment. The position is based at Oaklands House in Reydon, Suffolk, offering a bank contract with a pension and extensive benefit scheme designed to support staff wellbeing

Oaklands House is located in the seaside town of Southwold in Suffolk. The house is surrounded by five acres of mature woodland. Inside the home is a handsome entrance hall which leads on to a number of exquisite reception rooms. The stunning south-facing conservatory is ideal for peace and quiet but is also a popular meeting place for residents and guests.

What would a typical day look like?

• Ensuring our residents rooms and communal areas remain clean and tidy
• Preparing vacant rooms for viewings and new admissions
• Stock control and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
