Oaklands House in Southwold, Suffolk, seeks compassionate care staff to join our hotel-style care team. You will provide personal care, companionship, and help maintain resident records in a senior-friendly environment.

• Administering prescribed medication and updating medication charts as applicable

Job description

Oaklands House is located in the seaside town of Southwold in Suffolk. The house is surrounded by five acres of mature woodland. Inside the home is a handsome entrance hall which leads on to a number of exquisite reception rooms. The stunning south-facing conservatory is ideal for peace and quiet but is also a popular meeting place for residents and guests.

Typical day responsibilities include:

• Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)
• Providing companionship and offering social interaction
• Maintaining accurate resident records
• Administering prescribed medication and updating medication charts as applicable
• Supporting and leading our existing care team
