Job summary

Agincare in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to deliver high-quality personal and domestic care in clients' homes, promoting independence and dignity. You’ll play a key role in supporting families and building trusted relationships every day.

We offer funded training up to QCF level 5, flexible contracts, mileage paid, and a pension plan. You’ll be part of a caring team with opportunities to mentor others and progress your career in community care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' care experience.
• NVQ level 2 preferable.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.

About the role:

• Provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes.
• Support and mentor new members of the care team.
• Carry out occasional spot checks to help maintain care standards.

• Ideal for experienced Care Assistants looking to progress their career.

What you will bring:

• Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature
• A minimum of 12 months' care experience, compassion, and a positive attitude - NVQ level 2 is preferable
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am – 10pm and alternating weekends
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work – we currently cannot offer sponsorship
