Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Newcastle-Under-Lyme to provide compassionate, in-home care that enables clients to live independently with dignity. The role supports personal and domestic tasks and mentors new team members in a growing national care provider.

You’ll work around clients’ needs with shifts across early to late hours, and occasional weekends. A driving licence and mileage allowance are provided, with full training and progression opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months' care experience.
• NVQ level 2 preferable.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am–10pm and alternating weekends.
• A minimum of 12 months right to work – sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Carry out occasional spot checks to help maintain care standards.

About the role:

What you will bring:

• Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature
• A minimum of 12 months' care experience, compassion, and a positive attitude - NVQ level 2 is preferable
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am – 10pm and alternating weekends
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work – we currently cannot offer sponsorship
