Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide compassionate, high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will mentor new team members, perform spot checks, and build strong relationships with clients and their families.

Flexibility to work 40 hours per week with shifts from 7am to 10pm, including alternating weekends, is required. A driving licence and NVQ Level 2 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months care experience.
• NVQ Level 2 preferable.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Available to work 40 hours/week, 7am–10pm shifts, alternating weekends.
• Right to work for 12 months; sponsorship not offered.

What you will bring

• Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature.
• A minimum of 12 months' care experience, compassion, and a positive attitude - NVQ level 2 is preferable.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am - 10pm and alternating weekends.
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work - we currently cannot offer sponsorship.
