About the Role

Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care and creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of residents, noting any changes impacting care and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementation and monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
  • Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated.
About You

To succeed, you will embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Display a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
