About The Role

Please note: This role is Full Time 38.5hrs per week (12hr shifts with unpaid breaks) 3x on/3x off

As a Senior Care Assistant at De Brook Lodge, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon all aspects of our care. Every team member understands that residents are people with their own stories, and joining us gives you a chance to give back.

Your responsibilities include planning and delivering personalized care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, lead a team of Care Assistants, and ensure the highest standards of care. Whether assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communication, kindness is your guiding principle. You will also facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and maintain accurate records.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to act accordingly. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to report concerns are essential.
