Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a friendly Senior Care Assistant for Seagrave House Care Home in Corby, Northamptonshire. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care and create a safe, respectful environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ 3 in care, at least 2 years' experience in a similar setting, and strong communication skills with a positive, flexible attitude. DBS check will be required and costs borne by Avery.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
