Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning team. You will deliver high standards of personal care and support to residents, working with the Care team in a safe, caring and inclusive environment.

The role requires an NVQ 3 in care for care homes and at least two years of experience in a similar setting. You should communicate effectively, be responsive, flexible and a positive mentor to colleagues.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to

support

and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,

environment for residents, visitors and staff

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.

Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.

Supporting residents with their medication requirements.

Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.

Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
