Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Manchester to support the care team in delivering high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of personal care and create a safe, caring, inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
  • Monitor wellbeing of residents and update care plans and records as needed.
  • Support residents with medication requirements and assist with monthly evaluations in person-centered care planning.
  • Act as a key contact for residents, relatives, and health and social care professionals, escalating concerns when required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include: Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation. Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations. Supporting residents with their medication requirements. Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required. Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
