Job summary

Admirals Reach Care Home is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide and support the care team in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care for residents. You will ensure smooth shift operations, oversee medication, monitor wellbeing and maintain accurate care records, working closely with families and health professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Job description

Admirals Reach Care Home is a 158 bed care home located in a quiet residential area of Chelmsford, Essex. Providing residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care, the home offers a welcoming environment with bright living spaces, landscaped gardens, comfortable lounges and a strong family atmosphere. Colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• £14.35 to £14.95 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

We Are Looking For
