Casa di Lusso Care Home in Bridgwater is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide a team and deliver safe, high quality, person-centred care. You will oversee medication, monitor wellbeing, and maintain care records, ensuring effective communication with families and healthcare professionals.

The role requires NVQ2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to progress. You must work alternate weekends on a contracted 24–48 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Medication administration training with competency is essential

Casa di Lusso Care Home is a modern, purpose-built home in Bridgwater, offering expert Dementia care for up to 88 residents, with the latest care technology ensuring comfort and peace of mind.

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• £13.50 per hour
• Contracted to 24-48 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
