Job summary
Mott MacDonald in Reading is seeking a Senior C&I Engineer / C&I Engineer to join our Nuclear: Defence and Civil team. The role involves supporting the production of C&I designs in line with project requirements and collaborating with other disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions.
Essential: degree in electrical engineering; working towards IEng/CEng; knowledge of control & instrumentation engineering; design basis to P&ID; systems drawings; instrument data sheets; and ability to prepare
Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Working towards IEng/CEng registration.
- Experience with control & instrumentation engineering in project environments.
- Ability to prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Awareness of CDM and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support execution of C&I work per design instructions and procedures.
- Contribute to safety, quality, man-hour, cost, and schedule targets.
- Identify and plan C&I scopes of work.
- Prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications to required quality.
- Liaise with other disciplines and clients as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and site licenses.
