Pacific Life is seeking a Sr Business Systems Analyst to join our Distribution and Journey Transformation team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is hybrid of 4 days in office and 1 day per week remote.

The role involves gathering requirements, liaising with stakeholders, translating business needs into specifications, and guiding implementation across life insurance platforms. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in financial services analysis and strong Agile experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years of systems/business analysis experience in financial services.
• Strong understanding of processes, platforms, and integrations.
• Experience translating business needs into functional specifications.
• Experience creating flows, use cases, and test scenarios.
• Proficient with Azure DevOps for requirements and testing.

Responsabilités

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements across functions.
• Liaise between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Lead discovery discussions to identify gaps and improvements.
• Translate business needs into requirements, workflows, and specs.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement capabilities.
