Job summary

Pacific Life Re is seeking a Senior Data Business Analyst to shape how data is defined, governed, and used across underwriting, operations and finance in a regulated environment.

You will sit at the intersection of business analysis, data architecture, and enterprise change, working with senior stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to deliver governed, scalable data outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering data centric initiatives.
• Strong conceptual understanding of data architecture and data warehousing (hands on delivery not required).
• Experience working in structured, governance heavy delivery environments.
• Ability to explain complex data concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead data centered initiatives across multiple business domains.
• Apply structured business analysis and change management approaches within a governance led delivery environment.
• Take ownership of smaller data projects and enhancements from early discovery through to business as usual adoption.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of data BA standards, tooling, and ways of working across the organisation.
