Job description

i2, a Harris Computer company, is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive on a full-time, permanent, remote-working basis in the UK.

You will join a small team supporting our worldwide business. Your role will be key in helping us achieve our new business targets. Your primary responsibility will be to qualify and generate leads to build our sales pipeline globally.

What you will do

Your core duties include (but are not limited to):

  1. Campaign dialing to support and develop a new business pipeline in key territories
  2. Proactive use of LinkedIn to identify and contact key stakeholders in target accounts
  3. Maintain and expand your prospect list within your accounts
  4. Understand prospect needs to accelerate conversion into leads and pipeline
  5. Provide input to marketing and product teams regarding messaging and insights
  6. Lead status reporting by channel and distribution party
  7. Maintain and enhance contact data in Salesforce CRM
  8. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts

There will also be opportunities to work on special projects to test messaging and support direct channel sales.

What we are looking for

You should bring enthusiasm, be an articulate self-starter, and able to work independently remotely. Additionally, you will need:

  • Experience in an Inside Sales role
  • Proven lead generation and appointment setting skills
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce
  • The right attitude and flexibility to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • A highly motivated, enthusiastic approach to exceeding sales targets
  • A passion for learning
  • Flexibility in working hours to support overseas colleagues
  • Team spirit and willingness to go above and beyond

Desirable (not essential): Experience in the public sector, especially in defense, security, or government sectors.
