Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Portfolio team in a hybrid role at Handforth Support Office. You’ll shape strategic initiatives, translate complex problems into clear requirements, and influence decisions that drive value.

You’ll lead and develop a team of Business Analysts, partner with Product, Technology and Operations, and coach others to raise the capability of the BA community.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst within a complex organisation.
• Experience leading, mentoring or developing other Business Analysts.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Ability to influence decisions through insight and storytelling.
• Experience working across large-scale business and technology change initiatives.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices and modern ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across strategic change initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and shape future solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to drive clarity and alignment.
• Translate complex challenges into clear requirements, recommendations and outcomes.
• Support business case development, benefits realisation and decision-making.
• Coach and mentor Business Analysts to grow and develop.
• Champion best practice and improve BA capability across the organisation.
• Build strong relationships across Product, Technology and Operations teams to ensure delivery.
