Sysco GB (whose UK operating companies include Brakes, Fresh Direct, KFF & Medina) are recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Technology team on a fixed term, full-time basis, reporting into the Project Manager. This role is offering a hybrid working contract, available in one of three locations.
Senior Business Analyst - Supply Chain & Merchandising
As the Senior Business Analyst you will be a strong communicator, acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions. This role will involve analysing and understanding business needs, translating them into technical requirements and documenting test scenarios, scripts and user outcomes. You will be the consistent thread throughout the lifecycle of change, utilising strong analytical skills to take business requirements through to successful delivery of a technical solution into the BAU teams. While not responsible for direct reports, you are expected to help drive the community of Business Analysts across functional teams with best practice tools, techniques, and methodologies. The role may require travel commitment to sites across Europe and requires self‑motivation and flexibility. The role will reside within the Supply Chain & Merchandising Technology function and may involve time with business stakeholders on site across Europe as projects require or work across other functional pillars as deemed necessary.
To be successful you possess strong relationship‑building skills with stakeholders, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to present and document information based on project needs. You have an analytical and inquisitive mindset, think tactically and strategically, and support projects by surfacing risks early and suggesting mitigation options. Experience in requirements gathering through direct interaction with business users or in workshop environments and the ability to prioritise using methods such as MOSCOW are essential.
Qualifications required for this role include relevant experience in business analysis within a technology environment, mastery of requirements elicitation techniques, and a proven track record of delivering technical solutions.
