Calibre Candidates Ltd. is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst for Insurance, AI & Digital Transformation.
The role translates underwriting workflows into system requirements, leading a growing BA Knowledge Hub across the business and collaborating with engineering teams to scale AI-enabled capabilities. Expect extensive interaction with Cyber, D&O, Transaction Risk and Property lines, shaping data models and governance while delivering concrete, testable requirements and repeatable methods
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of BA experience, preferably in a B2B insurer or Digital MGA
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to support requirements drafting and analysis
- Strong academic track record with a 2:1+ degree ideal
- Proven ability to translate complex information into clear requirements and practical delivery plans
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience mentoring or coordinating other BAs
- Ability to build repeatable methods and improve processes
- Practical agile delivery experience with backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies
Responsibilities
- Translate workshops, notes and stakeholder input into structured specifications
- Map current and future-state processes for major system migrations
- Design and test AI-enabled workflows with human-in-the-loop controls
- Lead requirements discovery across multiple insurance products
- Develop business cases for new portfolio initiatives
- Acquire underwriting knowledge to inform system design
- Balance stakeholder needs and maintain credible delivery plans
- Build and lead a BA Knowledge Hub and AI toolkit
