Job summary

WSP is seeking a senior Design Manager to lead and mentor multidisciplinary design teams across Heathrow projects. You will drive design programmes, ensure technical quality and coordination between MEP, structural and architectural disciplines, and align designs with programme and client requirements.

Based across our Heathrow and other UK offices, you will collaborate with commercial teams, support bids, and maintain governance with design reviews and risk management while delivering

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in design management within Building Services or aviation environments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing design programmes.
• Proficient in BIM, digital design platforms, and coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Building Services design across all project stages at Heathrow programmes.
• Develop and manage detailed design programmes and deliverables.
• Lead technical reviews, compliance checks, and stakeholder workshops.
• Mentor engineers and promote integrated design solutions.
