Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a senior design manager for Heathrow-based Building Services projects. You will lead and mentor design teams across MEP, structural and architectural disciplines, ensuring coordinated, compliant, and high-quality outputs aligned with programme and budget.

Based across our Heathrow/Central offices with hybrid working, you will shape design delivery, manage programmes, engage with clients, and drive continuous improvement through BIM and digital design governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in design management within Building Services, aviation or complex regulated environments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams (MEP, architectural, structural).
• Experience with BIM, digital design platforms, coordination tools.
• Knowledge of design risk, assurance, and governance with client standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, management, and coordination of Building Services design across Heathrow programmes.
• Ensure deliverables are coordinated and aligned with requirements.
• Act as central integration point between MEP, architectural, structural disciplines.
• Drive right-first-time design and reduce rework.
