Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead Building Services design across Heathrow programmes. You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, drive design delivery plans and coordinate MEP, structural and architectural interfaces to achieve coordinated, compliant outcomes.

You will champion BIM workflows, manage design programmes, monitor progress against budgets, and support bid activity with technical leadership. Hybrid working options are available across UK offices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in design management within Building Services, aviation or similarly complex environments.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage programmes, deliverables, and interfaces.
• Strong capability with BIM, digital design platforms and coordination tools to align with project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and coordination of Building Services design across Heathrow programmes.
• Ensure design outputs are fully coordinated, technically sound and aligned with constraints.
• Act as central integration point between MEP, architectural, structural and specialist systems.
