Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a senior commercial professional to lead the commercial management of Building Services and multi-disciplinary projects at Heathrow. You will shape commercial strategy, oversee cost planning, forecasting, and governance, and guide senior engineers and project teams to delivery excellence.

You will mentor teams, manage client relations, and contribute to bids and tender processes, ensuring robust commercial performance across complex programmes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial management, cost control, and financial planning within construction or Building Services environments.
• Experience in managing commercial processes, systems, and tools (cost management, forecasting, ERP).
• In-depth understanding of NEC/JCT contracts, changes, variations and claims management.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of Building Services and multi-disciplinary projects at Heathrow, providing strategic direction across the project lifecycle.
• Influence decisions to optimise commercial outcomes, balancing risk and opportunity.
• Provide early commercial input into bids, pricing strategies, and delivery models.
• Act as trusted advisor to Project Directors and senior leadership on commercial matters.
