WSP is seeking a Senior/Principal Engineer to drive civil and bridge projects in the South West & Wales region. You will mentor junior staff and ensure delivery of quality work on time and within budget, with a focus on bridge design, maintenance and assessments.

The role requires Chartered status and experience across design office and construction sites, with strong client engagement and communication skills. You will operate within a collaborative team environment in a busy city centre office.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with relevant UK accreditation.
• Experience leading bridge design, maintenance and assessment projects.
• Proven project management experience on bridge schemes.
• Knowledge of DMRB/MCDHW and Eurocodes for structural design.

Responsabilités

• Lead bridge design and management, both in the UK and overseas.
• Oversee bridge strengthening, repair, inspections and assessments.
• Provide civil/structural support to other teams and projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and options appraisals.
• Prepare documents, reports, cost estimates, and fee estimates.
• Supervise junior team members and CAD technicians.
