Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Bridge Engineer/Senior Bridge Engineer to join the Transportation team in the UK. You will contribute to the design, assessment and delivery of bridges and civil structures across the UK, collaborating with highways, transportation, and civil engineering teams to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.

You will work from concept through detailed design and construction, contributing to feasibility and project delivery while developing your technical expertise and pursuing

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant bridge engineering experience in design or assessment.
• Experience with design standards and engineering software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication of technical information.
• Experience in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proactive approach to learning and skills development.
• Interest in ICE/IStructE chartering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and assess bridges and other civil structures.
• Produce calculations, drawings, specs and technical reports.
• Apply design standards to develop robust solutions.
• Support inspections and investigations of existing structures.
