Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Associate Director to lead our Bridge Engineering team in the UK, combining technical leadership with client relationships and business development. You’ll oversee feasibility to construction, mentor staff, and help grow our portfolio while working with multi-disciplinary teams across UK and international offices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership across bridge engineering projects and programmes.
• Lead delivery of complex bridge design, assessment and inspection projects.
• Provide technical direction from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
• Mentor engineers and support professional development across the team.
• Support recruitment and resource planning to build capability and capacity.
