The Temporary Staffing Services (TSS) at UHCW NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Senior Booking Assistant (Band 3) to work during weekends. This position plays a crucial role within the team, requiring you to demonstrate excellent communication skills, as you will interact with staff at all levels throughout the Trust and with external suppliers.
Experience of working in a busy office environment is important, as you will be expected to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines effectively. Each day, the service handles a significant volume of queries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions, which you will need to address while ensuring that bookings are filled in a timely manner.
You will need to have excellent IT skills, as you will use multiple systems daily. Full training and ongoing support for these systems will be provided. Please be aware that all training will take place during the working week.
The service operates seven days a week, and the Senior Booking Assistant role involves working weekends—specifically, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 to 19:30. In addition, you will be required to work one day during the week, ideally Monday or Friday. There is flexibility regarding the start time for weekend shifts and the choice of weekday worked, which can be discussed further.
