Job summary

Red Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager for a major fuel card reseller. Located in Bradley Stoke, the role offers a generous base salary and uncapped commission, with a permanent, on-site position suited to experienced bidders and business developers.

Responsibilities include managing bids/tenders, lead generation, and overseeing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in bid/tender management.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a face-to-face sales role to stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of finance and commercial aspects of bids/tenders.
• Excellent communication and networking skills focused on customer value.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and regulations.
• Experience with Fuel Cards/Fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Manage development, creation and delivery of bids, proposals and tenders.
• Ensure bids and tenders are fully costed to reflect operations and technical content.
• Generate leads and appointments through telemarketing, email, social and networking channels.
• Review customer requirements to ensure bids meet them.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead identification through to closing.
