Job summary

Red Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Business Development Manager to join one of the largest resellers of fuel cards. Located in Bradley Stoke, with an uncapped commission structure and a generous salary of £45,000 per annum.

The role involves managing bids and tenders, generating leads, and overseeing the full sales cycle from lead to close. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and additional incentive days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' Bid/Tender management experience.
• Minimum 3 years' face-to-face sales with stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of finance and commercial bid delivery.
• Excellent communication and networking abilities.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and regulations.
• Experience with Fuel Cards and fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Managing the development, creation and delivery of bids, proposals and tenders.
• Ensuring bids and tenders are fully costed to reflect targets and strategy.
• Generating your own leads and appointments through telemarketing, email, social and networking channels.
• Reviewing and interpreting customer requirements to ensure bids and tenders meet these requirements.
• Managing the full sales cycle from lead identification through to closing.
