Job summary

Red Chilli Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Executive for fuel cards and bulk fuel solutions in the Sheffield/ Halifax area. You will drive outbound sales, build relationships with B2B clients, and manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.

The role requires experience selling fuel cards or bulk fuel solutions, with a strong B2B sales background and excellent closing skills. This is an office-based position offering a clear commission structure and good career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience selling fuel cards and bulk fuel solutions.
• Background in B2B sales, telesales, business development, or account management.
• Confident communicator with strong objection handling and closing skills.
• Driven, target-focused, and commercially minded.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outbound sales environment.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Win new business through outbound sales activity and relationship building.
• Sell fuel cards, bulk fuel solutions, and related services to B2B clients.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
• Build relationships with fleet managers, transport managers, procurement teams, and business owners.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and expand accounts.
• Aim to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management.
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor activity.
