Job summary

Evotec, a leader in drug discovery, seeks a Senior Scientist I in Biologics Design, Production and Characterization to join the Alderley Park team. You will execute discovery and engineering projects, oversee multiple efforts, and ensure data quality for client deliverables. The role requires leadership in biologics workflows and collaboration across internal/external teams.

Ideally, a Ph.D. or equivalent industrial experience, with extensive experience in biologics and related characterization

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of biologics discovery and engineering with the ability to design and deliver results.
• Experience in expression, purification and characterization workflows for complex biologics.
• Experience with high throughput methodologies and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute work plans for biologics engineering, design, production and characterization.
• Lead multiple projects and direct internal resources to achieve goals.
• Provide oversight of results to ensure quality to project specs.
• Design experiments, review documentation and present to clients.
• Propose experimental designs and novel approaches to advance strategies.
• Implement standalone scientific services and deliverables to customers.
• Lead colleagues in PDP development and participate in conferences.
