Project Partners is seeking a skilled 3D CAD/BIM Technician to join the design team in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead. You will develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for water and wastewater projects, ensuring BIM coordination and adherence to standards.

You will mentor junior technicians, participate in design reviews, and help improve digital design workflows while delivering on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Strong BIM workflows and project coordination knowledge.
• Experience in water or wastewater projects is highly desirable.
• Proficient in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks) and CAD (AutoCAD).

Responsabilités

• Lead development of 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) for water and wastewater projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure BIM/model coordination and design integration.
• Prepare, review, and maintain high-quality digital models/drawings per client requirements and standards.
• Assist in clash detection to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Mentor junior technicians in CAD/BIM tools and workflows.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on model accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure delivery on schedule and within project scope.
• Assist with BIM workflow setup, templates, and libraries across projects.
• Produce technical reports/presentations using 3D models for client communication.
• Stay updated on BIM/CAD features and best practices.
