Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a BIM Technician to contribute to major water and wastewater schemes from feasibility through to construction. You will deliver CAD/BIM design data and support 3D modelling for design collaboration and cost capture.

Working with the common data environment, you will develop a standard BIM library, manage BIM data and cyber security, and guide project teams on BIM best practices and ISO 19650 compliance.

Qualifications

• Recognised CAD/BIM qualification or degree.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with 3D modelling in a common data environment.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360.
• Understanding ISO 19650 information management principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CAD/BIM design data and QC processes.
• Use 3D modelling to support design collaboration and clash resolution.
• Support common data environment platform and processes.
• Create a standardised BIM element library.
• Manage BIM data and security considerations.
• Validate CAD/BIM models from suppliers and integrate into models.
• Work with designers to balance time, cost, quality.
• Support safety, wellbeing and sustainability in BIM outputs.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams.
