Job summary

Project Partners in Glasgow is seeking a 3D CAD / BIM Technician to join the Design Team and develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for water and wastewater infrastructure. You will use AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks to ensure models meet industry standards and client requirements while coordinating with engineers and designers.

You will mentor junior technicians, contribute to BIM workflows, and help improve digital design processes, ensuring designs are delivered on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD/BIM experience in water or wastewater projects.
• Proficient in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks) and CAD (AutoCAD).
• Experience with clash detection and model coordination.
• Strong understanding of project documentation and quality control.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of 3D models and 2D drawings for infrastructure.
• Coordinate with engineers and design teams to improve BIM integration.
• Prepare and review digital models to meet client requirements and standards.
• Mentor junior technicians and support CAD/BIM skills.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure on-schedule delivery.
