Job summary

Browne Group in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Senior BIM / 3D CAD Technician to lead the Design Team in implementing BIM and CAD processes for major water and wastewater projects. You will manage a team of BIM/CAD technicians, develop high-quality 3D models, ensure outputs meet technical and regulatory standards, and drive best practices across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years CAD/BIM design experience in water or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record delivering large water/wastewater projects using BIM/3D workflows.
• Expertise with BIM software (Revit/Navisworks) and CAD tools (AutoCAD) incl. clash detection.
• Experience developing and implementing BIM standards and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations and digital design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM/CAD design team across projects and ensure high‑quality outputs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and manage clash detection and reviews.
• Champion BIM standards and workflows throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor BIM/CAD technicians and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
