Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end tender and bid processes for PfP Students, working with the Head of Business Development and key stakeholders to deliver compelling, compliant submissions that support growth.

You will manage multiple bids, monitor the tender pipeline, guide bid reviews, and mentor temporary bid writers, with a national remit that includes client-site meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Proven Bid Manager experience in a competitive tendering environment.
• Track record of successfully managing bid submissions.
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes.
• Experience handling multiple complex bids simultaneously.
• Experience building stakeholder relationships across a large organisation.
• Experience in Property/Student Accommodation preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities from identification through to submission.
• Lead bid reviews and debriefs.
• Maintain tender pipeline and monitor performance.
• Provide leadership to temporary bid writers when needed.
• Attend client-site meetings as required.
• Ensure submissions meet client requirements and branding guidelines.
