Job summary

LA International is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead end-to-end bid lifecycle for Defence and Nuclear opportunities in Surrey, with 3 days on-site. The role requires bid strategy, governance, and stakeholder engagement to deliver compliant, compelling proposals.

The successful candidate will coordinate technical, commercial and operational inputs, manage submission processes, and ideally hold APMP certification or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex bids from qualification through to submission.
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement and tendering processes.
• Experience coordinating technical, commercial and operational stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, governance and risk management skills.
• APMP certification or equivalent bid management experience.
• Defence, Nuclear, Government or Infrastructure sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bid lifecycle across a portfolio of opportunities.
• Develop bid strategy and governance for proposals.
