Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Bid Manager to lead and manage strategically important bids in Leicester. You will own bid performance, coordinate bid teams, and engage with clients and design teams to deliver compelling proposals.

The role requires strong writing, planning, and risk management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements. Travel within the UK may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience leading strategically important bids in construction.
• Ability to own and deliver bid performance and client-facing deliverables.
• Proven track record in creating winning bid strategies and themes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage strategically important project and framework bids.
• Act as main point of contact with client/design teams and bid teams.
• Set bid strategy, win themes, programme, deliverables and tender process.
• Analyse PQQ and Tender documents; allocate resources to bids.
• Lead tender review meetings and report progress to Unit Directors.
• Develop risk identification, mitigation, and alternative proposals.
• Input into planning, programming, and construction methodologies.
• Deliver high-quality bids that meet client requirements.
