Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead major bids from opportunity to submission, bringing together technical, operational and commercial teams.

You’ll shape bid strategy, influence senior leadership, and manage complex, high-value infrastructure bids across water, rail, highways and civil projects.

This is a senior role in the Work Winning team, requiring excellent communication, organization and the AMPM accreditation or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Strong Bid Management / Work Winning experience within a Tier 1 contractor.
• Experience leading complex, high-value construction or infrastructure bids.
• Strong understanding of construction and civil engineering.
• Water sector experience would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent strategic, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• AMPM accreditation at Foundation, Practitioner or Professional level - or willingness to achieve it.

Responsibilities

• Lead major and strategically important bids from opportunity through to submission.
• Develop and implement effective bid strategies.
• Take ownership of the overall bid programme, governance and submission.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across technical, operational and commercial functions.
• Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Develop compelling, compliant and commercially focused proposals.
• Challenge and influence solutions to maximise win potential.
• Manage multiple complex bids and competing deadlines.
• Support the wider Work Winning team and contribute to continuous improvement.
