Job summary

Sodexo Live! at Ascot Racecourse seeks a Beverage Manager to lead a large-scale beverage operation across racedays, Royal Ascot, conferences and events. You will own planning, purchasing, forecasting and inventory, ensuring cost control and exceptional guest service.

The role requires a strong leader with commercial acumen, experience in hospitality scale, and a hands-on approach to delivery and improvement. Raceday tickets are included as a perk.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing beverage operations within large-scale hospitality or events.
• Proven track record leading operational teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing labour, budgets and stock.
• Excellent knowledge of beverage stock management and inventory systems.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Experience leading teams through operational change and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of beverage planning and operational readiness across racedays and events.
• Lead purchasing, forecasting and inventory control to balance stock and waste.
• Manage beverage cost of sales, labour expenditure and departmental budgets, investigate variances and act.
