Job summary

Legends Global at York Racecourse seeks an experienced Senior Bars Manager to lead the drinks operation across 50+ bars and hospitality suites. On race days hosting up to 35,000 guests, you will drive sales, develop the retail offer and manage a large team to deliver flawless service.

You will oversee stock, scheduling, compliance and the customer experience across events, conferences and banquets in a large venue, applying strong leadership and EPOS expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading high‑volume, multi‑bar operations.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision‑making skills.
• Highly organised, energetic team player managing multiple teams.
• Technical knowledge of EPOS, stock systems and Excel; licensing and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead the drinks operation across 50+ bars and hospitality areas.
• Manage beverage stock, ordering, suppliers and cellar operations.
• Plan bar set‑ups, deliveries, logistics and event requirements.
• Lead, schedule and develop the Drinks & Logistics team.
• Oversee beverage service across retail, hospitality, conferences and banqueting.
• Drive beverage sales, GP and retail offer development.
• Collaborate with F&B, Commercial and Sales for customer experience.
• Monitor performance, invoicing and P&L for continuous improvement.
