Sodexo Live! is seeking an Event Staffing & Workforce Planning Manager at Ascot Racecourse. You will plan staffing across racedays and hospitality, coordinating casual workers and agency partners to meet demand within budgets.

You’ll lead the People Operations team, monitor costs, and drive scheduling efficiency while supporting off-site events and weekend racedays. This role suits those with hospitality staffing experience.

Qualificações

• Experience planning, scheduling and deploying casual, temporary or agency workers.
• Ability to match staffing levels to demand and manage budgets.
• Experience coordinating changing staffing requirements and resolving issues under time pressure.
• Experience leading a team and setting priorities during peak periods.
• Proficiency with workforce scheduling, time and attendance systems.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Experience checking timesheets for payroll accuracy.
• Strong relationship-building with managers, agencies and stakeholders.
• Understanding of compliance for casual workers.
• Weekend racedays availability and UK travel.
• Experience with Humanforce and UK driving licence is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Own workforce planning and staffing coordination across Ascot’s core business, racedays and hospitality operations, supporting off-site events as required.
• Translate event requirements and anticipated demand into staffing forecasts, schedules and deployment plans that meet service needs and budgets.
• Lead, coach and develop the People Operations team, setting clear priorities and ensuring staffing activity is organised and accurate.
• Coordinate casual workers and agency partners, monitoring availability, addressing shortfalls and responding to changes before and during events.
• Monitor labour costs, agency usage and staffing performance, identifying potential overspends and taking corrective action with managers.
• Oversee timesheet checks, hours authorisation and payroll submissions, ensuring data accuracy and deadlines.
• Strengthen casual workforce pipeline through recruitment support, onboarding, engagement and retention.
• Improve scheduling processes and workforce reporting to meet company policies and compliance.
