Kreston Reeves is seeking a Restructuring BD Manager/Senior Manager in Chatham to lead business development within our Restructuring & Insolvency team. You will generate opportunities, build a strong intermediary network and drive advisory assignments across Kent and the South East.

The role combines technical restructuring work with leadership in BD, with scope to develop towards formal appointments and contribute to the service line strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in restructuring and insolvency, including advisory assignments.
• JIEB qualified or wanting to qualify.
• Established intermediary network across Kent/South East with a track record of winning new work.
• Strong appetite for business development and lead generation.
• Strong technical knowledge handling a variety of restructuring matters.
• Commercial awareness including budgets, fees and recovery.
• Strong client relationships, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience managing and developing people.
• Collaborative, proactive and commercially focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Generate leads and opportunities across Kent and the South East.
• Develop and expand relationships with lawyers, accountants, lenders and advisers.
• Build and convert your own pipeline and contribute to fee targets.
• Scope and manage advisory assignments with IPs within budget.
• Take ownership of restructuring matters and progress towards appointments.
• Grow the team through coaching and development.
• Contribute to pitches, events, and broader BD activity.
• Support the service line strategy and growth of the team.
