The Langham London, Europe’s first Grand Hotel, is seeking a Senior Bartender to join the Artesian team and elevate the guest experience with world-class cocktails and service.

You will oversee bar prep and stock control, ensuring flawless beverage execution, while delivering laid-back sophistication in a theatrical environment. The role requires flair, professionalism and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of classic cocktails and a passion for the bar industry.
• Previous experience working as a Bartender in a similar environment.
• Flair, passion and a conscientious attitude.
• Confidence, professionalism and an engaging personality.
• Ability to think outside the box to surprise and delight guests.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create memorable cocktails and serve world class spirits, wines and beers.
• Take ownership of bar prep and laboratory to ensure top stock, prep and ingredients for all cocktails.
• Support the team in delivering an excellent guest experience.
• Maintain immaculate presentation, be attentive and proactive with guests and bar management.
• Respond quickly to guest needs and manage complex situations efficiently.
• Be a strong team player with exceptional communication; ensure licensing and health & safety compliance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In the role of Senior Bartender, your key focus will be to:

• create memorable cocktails and serve world class spirits, wines and beers
• take ownership of the bar prep and laboratory to achieve the highest levels of organisation with stock, prep and ingredients that is used in the bar for all cocktails
• support the team in delivering an excellent experience for guests
• have flair, charisma and charm in a theatrical environment
• be immaculately presented, attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to needs of our guests and bar management team
• handle complex situations in a timely and efficient manner
• be an excellent team player with exceptional communication skills
• ensure that licensing laws and health and safety matters are adhered to
