The Langham, London is seeking an On Call Spa Therapist to join the Chuan Body + Soul team. You will provide treatments, be passionate about wellbeing, and deliver exceptional service on an on-call basis.

Applicants should have spa/beauty qualifications, certification in beauty and massage, and strong communication skills. Training on product lines will be provided, with a focus on client consultation and brand standards.

Job description

The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel, is currently recruiting for an On Call Spa Therapist to join our talented Chuan Body + Soul team. In this role, you will provide treatments for clients, be passionate about health and wellbeing and driven by the desire to provide excellent service.

This is a ‘0’ hour contract, and your hours of work will be dependent on our business volumes.

In the role of On Call Spa Therapist, your key focus will be to:

• Extend a welcoming experience for our clients
• Carry out a variety of treatments
• Follow Forbes and brand standards
• Be fully aware of treatment menus and product knowledge
• Assess guest needs through thorough consultation prior to treatment
• Adhere to the operating procedures of Chuan Body + Soul
• Promote spa and body care products
• Ensure all treatment rooms are set up according to standards prior to the treatment
• Maintain clear lines of communication within the Spa and hotel in general

Do you have?

• Experience in a similar position and environment with a firm understanding of excellence in customer service
• Spa/Beauty qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (a professional background in beauty therapy and a Spa/Beauty qualification in CIDESCO/CIBTAC/ITEC/ NVQ/ VTCT is desirable)
• Certification in beauty and massage therapy is essential
• Knowledge of product lines, including Kerstin Florian, Jacqueline Piotaz, OTO, and Zelens is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Warm and caring attitude towards the health and well-being of clients
• The drive to work towards targets in treatment and retail
• The ability to work well in a team
• Good time management skills
